Emma Bickers explores intimate connections through visual storytelling that depicts themes of queer identity, capturing tender emotions and loving narratives. She creates earthenware vessels with colourful illustrations applied with stained terra sigillata that offer lighthearted interpretations of loaded narratives. She is a graduate of the Craft and Design program with a specialty in ceramics at Sheridan college.
Emma Bickers became an artist-in-residence at Harbourfront centre in 2023.
